Hester Middelweerd is an art historian, curator and art advisor, and founder of Your Curated Eye. With fifteen years of experience across the art world as a gallery director, working with contemporary galleries and auction houses, she builds public and private collections for collectors, institutions and hospitality spaces. Her selections have entered museum collections across Europe.

For the past decade, she has curated exhibitions, cultural programmes and events, and managed the creative direction of hotels, developing their visual identities and art collections. Her academic background in art history shapes how she thinks about curation: not as individual selections, but as a practice of creating connections between people, artworks, and place.

She works across contemporary and modern art, design, jewellery and Asian antiquities, with particular knowledge of how art and fashion have influenced one another across different periods.
What interests her is the relationship between creative scenes and the people who shape them, the conversations that happen when you bring the right works, the right artists, and the right spaces together.
